Hey there, I'm Kate!
During my career, I went from designing for start-ups and medium-sized businesses to corporate FTSE 100 global companies, collaborating with various stakeholders while solving challenging problems. I focus my everyday practice on user-centred design, which I find very rewarding, as it allows me to always design with real people in mind and have a chance to make a difference. I’m interested in innovation and pushing the boundaries and would like to be part of a team that encourages an open-minded and diverse culture. When not designing, I grow orchids, play tennis and kayak on the River Thames.

Product Designer (UX/UI) - fintech
Solving user problems by taking on the challenges of the complex financial technology to create B2B and B2C, SaaS (Software as a Service) products, PWA (Progressive Web Apps) for desktop and mobile platforms. UX/Product Designer, contractor - edtech/eCommerce/health tech
During my career, I was also a Product and UX design contractor. This experience included building platforms and websites for education, customer service, social enterprise, wellbeing data analysis and e-commerce. Some projects also included brand development and design systems creation.
Brand/Graphic Designer - marketing & comms/ research & innovation
For nearly a decade, I had a chance to design for start-ups, medium-sized to corporate FTSE 250-global businesses, and both government and commercial businesses. I worked with Heads of Digital, Brand and Marketing to develop and re-brand our identities, create digital communications for marketing campaigns for web and social media, and supported events with interactive presentations on large touchscreens and infographics.
